Maya Rose Goldman

Staff Attorney

Maya joined NCLEJ in August 2023 as a staff attorney with a focus on disability rights and public benefits. Prior to joining NCLEJ, they worked with several legal advocacy organizations on issues at the intersection of disability justice and decarceration. Maya is also the co-founder of the Breaking Point Project, which aims to educate the public on disabled peoples’ experiences in the carceral system using storytelling and art.

Maya is a graduate of NYU School of Law, where they were a Root-Tilden-Kern scholar, and of the University of Chicago.
